Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year?

So I’ve been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum lately for the PC, and I must say it is an absolutely brilliant game.
I’ve overheard several people claiming that it should be Game of the Year, but I’ve felt that it was too soon to say such as thing, as Arkham is a relatively early contender for 2009. [...]
