BioShock forces a Video Card Upgrade

Man, I just started playing Bioshock, and it seems like I need an upgrade!
I have a Core 2 Duo E6600 with 2GB of DDR2 and a 256MB GeForce 7800 GT. You’d think with those specs the framerate would be flying, but I have to bring the resolution down to 1280×960 and turn vsync off to get playable framerates, and they’re not as smooth as butter.
Guess I’ll be looking at the 8800 after all…
I just started playing BioShock (on the PC, my 360 broke for the 4th time, dammit!) and it’s freakin awesome.
Instead of Harvesting the Little Sisters, I’m Rescuing them… everyone tells me it’s worth it at the end.
I have an E6600 and GeForce 7800, but I had to do some major tweaking to get smooth framerates out of it, and that’s at a (relatively low) 1280×960 resolution.
I’d prefer to play this on the 360, just to get my gamer points up, but good thing I have my wireless xbox receiver for pc. Now I’m used to playing FPS with the controller, because you can walk or run with the analog sticks, rather than running full force with the keyboard.
