Nikon D200 or D80?

I was going back and forth about getting the D-200 or D-80, and I’ve pretty much determined that the only real difference is bragging rights. I deluded myself before thinking that my D-50 was just as good as the D-70, until I actually needed some of the features the D-70 had.
Now that I know what I’m looking for I can really say that the D-80 is most of what you want a professional camera for. The only real practical difference is that the D-200 has more direct-access controls without having to go thru the menus, faster shutter speed, and weather-sealed metal body (which might be worth the extra $500 by itself).
At least that’s what I tell myself to make me feel better…
