AMD not implement DDR2 until 2006?

The Inquirer believes that, among other things, AMD may push back dual cores to late 2005/early 2006 and DDR2 to a similar timeframe.  With a 1200 MHz bus already on Intel’s roadmap and DDR not being able to scale reliabily above 500 MHz, this could push Intel and its bandwidth hungry Netburst core, along with its P6 low power core, back to the top.

Of course, here’s the link.
Either that or AMD can’t produce CPUs fast enough - which is what I’m betting on. If they can’t produce enough CPUs to fill all of the orders, then they’ll hold off on a major core technology jump to maximize profits. I mean, Intel has more cash than AMD has total assets, so there’s no way that they can compete in the long run on just the best technology, they need money too.
